Capture in a Moment.
Save useful things before they slip away. Capture selected text, links, notes, snippets, and images with a quick keyboard shortcut.
Capture anything worth keeping. Find it in seconds.
The useful middle ground.
Snagto keeps the friction between “that matters” and “I’ll handle it” almost invisible.
Save useful things before they slip away. Capture selected text, links, notes, snippets, and images with a quick keyboard shortcut.
Stay in your flow while you save. Select something, press your shortcut, and snag it without switching apps or breaking your focus.
Find what you saved, even when you don't remember the exact words. Fast fuzzy matching helps you find captures using partial words, fragments, or rough searches.
Keep related things together. Organize your captures into collections so ideas, references, projects, and useful finds are easy to browse.
Keep useful visuals alongside your ideas. Save images and visual references together with your notes, links, and snippets for easy access later.
Keep useful pages close. Save links as you discover them, along with the context you want to remember, instead of leaving them buried in browser tabs.
Capture thoughts before they disappear. Save quick notes, code snippets, quotes, and anything else worth keeping without opening a full note-taking app.
Your captures stay on your device. Snagto works locally and keeps your saved content available even when you're offline. No cloud account required.
No account. No tracking. No telemetry. Your captures are not sent to a Snagto server for analysis or synchronization.
A three-second habit.
Snagto is designed for the moments when opening a full notes app would be too much, but losing the thought would be worse.
Make your queueHighlight a line in Edge, Chrome, an editor, or another supported Windows app.
Snagto reads the exposed selection directly, saves it to your queue, and leaves the system clipboard alone.
Search, sort, expand, copy, complete, or move the thought into the right collection.
Private by default.
Snagto is a local Windows companion. Your notes live in a JSON file on your machine, not in an account or a content API.

No. Your notes and attachments stay on your Windows device. Snagto does not require an account, upload your captures to a cloud service, or use your notes for analytics or AI processing.
Most standard Windows apps work, but some apps and controls don't expose their selection to Windows. This can happen with secure, remote, terminal, canvas-based, or custom interfaces. When Snagto can't access a selection, it tells you rather than silently falling back to the clipboard.
Snagto Free includes 20 captures. Your existing captures remain available after you reach the limit. Upgrade to Pro to continue capturing without limits.
Snagto Pro gives you unlimited captures and lifetime access with a one-time purchase. There is no subscription or recurring fee.
Your license can be used on one active device at a time. To move to another computer, deactivate it on your current device and activate the same license on the new one.
No. Snagto works offline and does not check your license every time you start the app. When internet access is available, Snagto may periodically validate your Pro license to keep your activation status up to date.
